What is a dog adventure?
Simply put, dog adventures include extra exercise, off the path walking & wild swimming. Adventures are so much more than dog walking that's provided as standard.
Adventures are tailored to your dogs fitness level & personality. This could mean anything from swimming in lochs & rivers or walking & swimming through river gorges. Walks up mountains, through forests or glens. During the adventures, the dog leads the way & the walker follows while making sure there’s no wandering into danger or committing any Scottish Outdoor Access Code violations.
The adventures are always continually risk assessed each time, ensuring the environment is safe & a suitable match for your pet. The walker always carries appropriate safety & first aid equipment in case of emergencies. The activities are always tailored to each dog to ensure their maximum safety and happiness. Waggly's can provide doggy buoyancy aids for peace of mind.
Safety is always the number one priority at Waggly Trails. Walks & activities are continually risk assessed and are always accompanied by safety equipment such as GPS location & safety tracking, emergency contact, fully stocked canine first aid kit, dog tracker & other equipment such as spare leads, ground anchors, water bowls & fresh water. The dog walker is always fully insured and is trained in canine first aid.

Dog adventures 1-4h
We go absolutely muts for a few hours!
This tailored service is suitable for all types of dogs, ages, sizes & fitness levels.
If you want to treat your dog, our dog adventures are just the thing! Dog adventures are tailored to your dogs personality type and fitness levels.
If the walker feels it is safe to do so, your dog may be unleashed at points during the adventure. When unleashed, your dog will have a tracker placed on their collar. You can usually expect your dog to get a bit muddy and tired out after this.
After having an awesome time, chasing, running, jumping, rolling, swimming or whatever the adventure is that day, your dog is returned, rinsed, towel dried, tired & very happy.
Big Tough Dog Adventures - 2h-8h
The big & tough one!
March - October
For medium to large dogs that your walker already knows well. Your dog must be aged between 2-12 and be of a good fitness level with no underlying conditions.
This is a full on 2-8 hour tailored adventure packed full of serious dog fun, covering around 5-15 miles including swimming, playing & stopping for regular recovery breaks (and treats!).
You can expect your dog to get absolutely mingin' on this adventure. We'll do our best to bing them back clean, but we can't guarantee they won't need a bath. Your dog will probably be quite tired after this.
Includes basic photo package. Luxury photo package POA
Really Big Wild Dog adventures - 6h-10h
The really big, absolutely wild one!
March - October. Suitable for all dogs
Taking your dog on an adventure into the wilderness. Roles are reversed and the dog leads the walk & decides on the days adventure. Spending pretty much the whole day like a pack of wild animals in the hills or woods going wherever dogs want to go.
The walker follows your dog around making sure they stick to the Scottish Outdoor Access Code and don't wander into any danger, but other than that they are totally free (on a lead)!
You'll probably be picking leaves & twigs off your very sleepy dog for days afterwards.
During this adventure the walker takes lots of photos on a DSLR and then prepares & edits a basic photo package of your dogs wild adventure for you to cherish forever. You can also choose to have a luxury edited and curated photo package created POA.
Little Wild Dog adventures - 2h-4h
The really wild wean!
Like the big wild dog adventure but much shorter and not quite as wild.
Taking your dog on a little adventure into the wilderness. The dog decides on the days adventure & goes wherever your dog wants to go. The walker makes sure your dog sticks to the Scottish Outdoor Access Code & doesn't wander into any danger or kill anything, but other than that they are as free as they can be whilst on a lead!
During this adventure the walker takes photos on a DSLR and then prepares & edits a basic photo package of your dogs wild adventure for you. You can also decide to purchase a luxury edited photo package POA.
